*Dr Kennath Widanaralalage’s areas of expertise include sexual offending and victimisation, domestic and intimate partner violence, victim blaming, and rape myth acceptance. He also focuses on the psychology of men and masculinities, as well as criminal justice processes such as reporting, investigation, prosecution, and aftercare. Additionally, he explores mental health systems and services.
Dr Widanaralalage joined King’s College in September 2023, having previously taught at the University of Westminster, the University of West London, and Canterbury Christchurch University. He holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of West London, an MSc in Forensic Psychology from the University of Kent, and a BSc in Psychology with Criminology from the University of West London. His contributions have been recognised with the Emerald Awards Literati 2024 for Outstanding Reviewer.
